Vote-by-mail is already underway, and early voting starts February 12! With the March 3 primary fast approaching, we’re building the grassroots momentum to elect Salette Andrews as our next New Hanover County Commissioner—and we need you.
We'll meet at a coffee shop in the Cargo District, then head out to nearby walkable neighborhoods
We’ll be knocking doors and talking with friendly, progressive voters about why Salette is the right choice in this critical primary. No experience needed! We canvass in pairs, so it’s perfect for first-time volunteers—bring a friend or come make a new one.

Veterans Day Program

I'm honored to be the guest speaker at the 2025 Veterans Day observation program sponsored by the New Hanover County Veterans Council on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at at Long Leaf Park, 314 Pine Grove Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409, adjacent to the American Legion and Gold Star Monuments.
Together, we can work for a New Hanover County that works for all of us, and we can leave our children and grandchildren a livable future.
County government should serve the people—by making growth work for everyone, protecting what makes our community special, and ensuring that public resources are used responsibly and transparently.
My priorities focus on affordability, sustainability, and accountability—so that New Hanover County remains a place where families can live, work, and thrive for generations to come.
